Skiff, published by shiyu at version 1.0.0 (the sole release, with one version total), is a local cross-platform disk cleanup tool that lets users inspect caches, applications, duplicate files, and large files before deletion. The application provides a disk overview showing total capacity, used and free space, usage ratio, and disk location for the current user's home directory. Its junk cleanup scans and clears platform-specific cache directories, including system, browser, and development tool caches, as well as Linux Flatpak and Arch package caches and macOS Homebrew caches. A large-file scan examines common user directories and supports selective deletion, while the duplicate-file scanner identifies duplicates by size and content hash, keeping the first file in each group by default. The application cleanup feature reads Linux packages, macOS applications and Homebrew packages, or Windows uninstall registry entries, offering filtering, search, selection, and confirmation before uninstall. Additional features include a cleanup history showing the most recent operation, configurable size thresholds for large-file and duplicate scans, and tray behavior that hides the main window instead of quitting. Skiff performs real file deletion and package uninstallation: Linux, macOS, and Windows are supported by the local app and CLI, each with its own cleanup targets. Deletion of large and duplicate files is restricted to regular files under the user's HOME directory. Uninstallation invokes platform mechanisms such as apt-get, dnf/yum/zypper/rpm, pacman, flatpak, brew, moving macOS .app bundles to the Trash, or executing Windows registry UninstallString entries, with pkexec used for privileged Linux commands. Flatpak app data cleanup is high-risk, CLI destructive commands require the --yes flag, and macOS and Windows builds currently lack code signing, Apple notarization, or Windows signatures.
